Transmission of pest diseases and viruses typically occurs from surface-to-person and person-to-person contact. Our goal is to disinfect and sanitize these surfaces to lower the spread of organisms and infections from surface to human.

We use a disinfectant called Nisus DSV, which is a versatile product that can be used against many organisms to sanitize or disinfect surfaces. It is EPA registered for hard and some other surfaces.

Download More Information on Nisus DSV

This sanitizer was first created to help pest management professionals prevent contamination of structures after Hurricane Katrina caused massive flooding in New Orleans. It has since been used by pest professionals to treat schools in order to help prevent flu outbreaks and to disinfect fecal/urine areas of high rodent activity in attics and commercial buildings.

* Important Note: DO NOT use Nisus DSV as a bodily sanitizer. Other chemicals such as hand wipes and sanitizers are recommended for this use as they’re regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), while Nisus DSV is not.

What It Kills:

It’s manufactured to kill harmful germs, bacteria, fungi, viruses and small flies including:

  • Human Coronavirus

  • Hantavirus

  • E. Coli

  • Hepatitis B and C

  • Animal fecal and urine remains

  • Salmonella

  • & Many others

*Important Note: These products were developed before this strain of COVID-19 was encountered, therefore no claims of Nisus DSV efficacy regarding SARS-CoV-2 (aka COVID-19) may be made.

First, you need to understand the difference between sanitizing and disinfection. These are two legal terms and are important to understand. Sanitizers must kill 99.999 percent of organisms tested in 30 seconds using the Official Detergent Sanitizer Test. Disinfectants must kill ALL organisms in 10 minutes using the AOAC Use Dilution Test. Thus, disinfection is 100% control.

Nisus DSV is a disinfectant, sanitizer and virucide. This means that it kills 100% of all harmful bacteria, viruses and small pests.

This formulation is for use on hard, non-porous surfaces in (but not limited to): Residential homes, restaurants, coffee shops, apartment buildings, hotels, hospitals, medical offices, nursing homes, isolation wards, quarantine areas, hospices, and medical research facilities, day care centers, nurseries, supermarkets, convenience stores, retail shops, department stores, etc.
