Covid Cleaning Kansas City - Keeping KC Safe Amid The Pandemic

Covid cleaning in Kansas City has become a monumentally important issue.

We all need to do our part to keep the Covid-19 virus from spreading.

Too many lives have been put at risk already. It is time for all of us to act.

And here at Classic Cleaning, we’ve taken the fight against the virus to the next level, and now offer special COVID cleaning services in Kansas City.

Here is exactly what we are doing to help combat the spread of the virus.

COVID Cleaning Kansas City Services

You can find the pricing for our Covid Cleaning services on this page.

But in this post, we are going to talk more directly about our process of treatment.

Firstly, We Are Protecting Our Staff

Our company is making sure that all necessary precautions are being taken to ensure that every one of our staff members are healthy and capable of performing their duties.

This helps us to double-down on safety for our clients.

What Types Of Properties Do We Perform COVID Cleaning For?

We will perform COVID cleaning services on any properties in the greater Kansas City area.

This includes multi-family properties, commercial properties, and residential properties.

We will clean once if you just need us to sweep through and disinfect the property---or we can come back once a week and make sure that your property remains disinfected and sanitized.

We recommend that you make sure that someone is cleaning your property once per week, especially if it is a commercial property---though we do have concern for companies that are only sanitizing, and not disinfecting!

So if your usual janitorial service doesn’t conduct thorough Covid disinfection, we recommend that you contact us so that we can help you to start that process immediately.

How Do We Perform Covid Cleaning?

When cleaning and disinfecting for Covid-19, it is important to cover not only the high-traffic surfaces, but also secondary surfaces as well.

High traffic surfaces include doorknobs, light switches, handrails, desk surfaces, chair arms, toilets, sinks, faucets, etc. These are surfaces that you need to touch every day in order for operations to proceed as usual.

These are the most important surfaces to disinfect. It is recommended that you have your janitorial service do a deep disinfect once per week. It is also recommended that you make sure that these surfaces are also being spot-sanitized several times per day.

We Use An Electrostatic Mister For Deep Sanitizing And Cleaning

If Classic Cleaning disinfects and COVID cleans your property, we will perform a deep disinfection and cleaning with an electrostatic mister.

The electrostatic mister is superior to more traditional cleaning methods because it produces a sanitizing, disinfecting mist that literally clings to every surface in the spray area.

This means that the spray doesn’t just hit the surfaces facing the mister. It wraps around objects and clings to the entire surface area.

This allows us to deep-clean even the hardest-to-reach areas, to make completely sure that germs aren’t allowed to survive in harder-to-reach places.

What Type Of Cleaner Do We Use?

Classic Cleaning utilizes a disinfectant called Nisus DSV. This product is regularly used to disinfect surfaces, kill micro-organisms, and eliminate viruses.

It is an EPA registered cleaner, and is perhaps best known as the cleaner that was used after Hurricane Katrina, to help disinfect surfaces that were contaminated during the floods.

It is also used by schools to help prevent flu outbreaks, and to disinfect areas contaminated with rodent/pest feces.

Please note that Nisus DSV is NOT a hand or body sanitizer, and that we do not use it as such!

It is a potent disinfectant that is capable of killing a significant number of viruses and micro-organisms, including:

  • Coronavirus

  • Hantavirus

  • E-Coli

  • Hepatitis B and C

  • Salmonella

  • Avian Flu

  • Staph

  • Strep

  • And a huge range of other viruses, bacteria, and fungi

Nisus DSV Is A Disinfectant, Sanitizer, And Virucide

One really important thing to note about Nisus DSV is that it is legally classified as a disinfectant.

This is much different from the legal definition for a sanitizing agent.

A Sanitizer:

  • Must be able to kill 99.999% of organisms within 30 seconds

A Disinfectant

  • Must be able to kill 100% of all harmful viruses, bacteria, and small pests within 10 minutes

The difference may not seem huge, but it is.

Nisus DSV giv

es us the power to exercise total disinfectant control over the virus!

When applied and allowed to dry as per the instructions, it is highly effective at disinfecting the area and removing all traces of COVID.

Sanitation Is Important For Many Reasons - And It Is Crucial That You Take Measures To Ensure Your Safety

COVID certainly isn’t a joke.

Living spaces, workspaces, places of business, schools, colleges, municipal buildings, and all communal areas need to be disinfected so that we can stop the spread of the virus.

The CDC says this about Covid-19 on the official Coronavirus Detailed Disinfection Guidance Page.

“Current evidence suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials. Cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection is a best

practice measure for prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in households and community settings.”

The CDC also says that one of the best ways to protect yourself and others from the virus is to “routinely clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.”
